No more blogging

People have gone crazy in the world we are now living in. No more public blogging for me.

Hi Wendy, I truly understand why you will no longer blog publicly. I have followed your very interesting blogs since 2007 and have prayed for you many many times, because I also suffer from autoimmune diseases and diabetes. I humbly request permission to read your now private blog. My name is Yvonne Di Carlo and my email address is ka2qjd@gmail.com. God bless, YD

I'm not going to write for a while. There is no content being added to either blog. I made the other one private because a few crazy people cannot seem to mind their own business. I have gotten several threats. What's up with that??? I usually enjoyed blogging as a way to keep track of my life and communicate with friends and family.

I've been buried in emails, FB friend requests and other ways of reaching out. Touching! :-) But..there is nothing going on with the other blog. It's on ice for now. I'm not doing Facebook, either.

For now, I'm just going to concentrate on packing up our stuff here and moving on to the next adventure. I will probably write again, but there's too much going on right now.

I believe in a world where people are nice to each other. It's always the actions of a few who wreck it for all of us. Too bad :-(

I already miss blogging!!!!

Wendy, I am so sorry you won't be blogging anymore. I used to live in the Adirondacks, Warrensburg and then in North Creek and always enjoyed your travels and pictures of the area. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and Rhett and I wish you all of the best in your new adventures. Carol

Best Wishes to you & Rhett. I lived in Bountiful for 7 yrs & enjoyed my time there. The water is yucky tasting, & the inversion layer that hangs out in Jan/Feb is yuck, but I'm positive you will like it. I really miss not living by a temple also. However, for now we are living on an island in Alaska. God bless Wendy. I've been a reader for 3 yrs now after you commented on the LDS Food storage yahoo group & left your link. Cant wait to hear about your new adventures out west!

Wishing you and Rhett a very happy and safe journey to your new adventure. Don't let a few people win by getting you to stop blogging. You have a lot to offer on many subjects and enjoy writing. If you stop you have let them have a victory they don't deserve.

Shucks! I was in the midst of reading your blog and had just finished 2009. Clicked to start the 2010 posts and couldn't access them. I am disappointed...was really hoping to catch up to current. I did register hoping to receive permission as an accepted reader but haven't been able to so far. Oh, well, I guess I will miss out. Blessings to you!

I've been reading your blog since you were in Vermont. I am gonna miss your daily dose of commonsense and inspiration. You and Heather really got me into natural living and helped inspire my family to homeschool. Thank you for all that you times you encouraged me with your own perseverance and faith. I wish you and Rhett the very best in travels. Be safe. Don't be discouraged or upset by all the negative and mean people who have nothing better than to haress good, honest and positive people. Remember all the people that you have blessed over the years and who have prayed for you. You may not know our names but we know and will remember yours with a smile. God bless you.

Have a safe journey...There is a pretty decent RV park in White Springs FL, in case you are going to warmer weather. It's right near the Suwanee River.

I feel like I have explored the heck out of Florida. I've been going camping there in the winters since the 80's. Once Heather and I camped all around TX and visited wildlife refuges. Many times we went to AZ and CA. I'm feeling more western this year :-)

Good luck on yur new adventures in yur toyota motorhome! I used to have the minihome motorhome, a toyota chinook until the motor mounts failed. Then we bought yur daughter heather's big red van which we still have and use. Rebuilding the carborator was NOT fun but no worse than doing a motorcycle. Have it registered as a historic vehicle now!. We go to NEW hampshire for a few weeks every summer to Rogers campground and it is more comfortable than a tent esp when we get a site with electric and water and a picnic table. We also sleep in it when we visit hubby's mom in manchester,nh.

Wendy:

I will really miss your writings. Your adventures traveling and your gardening and the Peace & Carrots farm... all were wonderful ways for me to glimpse a life where freedom to be yourself was highly prized and exhalted. Your blogs were always a high spot in my day to read (obviously EXCEPT the sad postings). I thank you for the joy you have given me by allowing me to read for so many years.

If you do resume blogging and keep your blog private, I would greatly appreciate if you would consider allowing me to be one of the invited guests to read your blog.

I also hope that you have not deleted your prior blogs... they are your history and are valuable.

Your friend,

I know what it's like to live with a disability. I will continue to pray for you Rhett.

Hope you have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Hi Wendy, I've been an avid reader of your blog for about two years and read all the archives as well. I had not been to your blog for a few weeks and was planning to catch up today. I was very sorry to see that it was no longer public and that you had given up blogging. Glad to read that you have reconsidered! I have truly enjoyed reading about your life and have prayed for you and your family. I think you are an amazing woman! I'm so sorry that crazy people had to get in the way. Best wishes to you and Rhett and good luck on your move! When you resume blogging, if you decide to keep it private I hope you will invite me to view it. Wishing you and your family a joyous Christmas and a blessed New Year.

Hi, Wendy. I've also enjoyed reading your posts and was disappointed to discover you weren't planning to blog any more. You've helped inspire me to get over my fears about solo RVing and it made me sad the wack jobs finally got to you. I too am glad you're considering posting again. -Karen (a soon-to-be)
